September Marietta Square Artist Market

Come to the Marietta Square and browse the booths on Mill Street on the 2nd and 4th Saturdays in September from 9 AM to 2 PM.  My friend Karen Snider and I are showing our original traditional and contemporary art in the casual outdoor atmosphere of a street fair.

The Marietta Farmers Market on the square adds the opportunity to purchase everything from flowers to fresh made bread.

We would love to have an opportunity to visit with you and show you our art work.  It is a great way to spend a fall Saturday morning.  The holiday season is coming and it is never too early to get started or just to look for something for yourself.

Artists of Northwest Atlanta Second Annual Studio Tour

 Sat. Nov. 3, 2012, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

I am looking forward to participating in an open studio event on Saturday November 3 in Kennesaw with four talented artists who have been busy creating art in various media.  Three guest artists (Karen Snider, Betty McGlamery and I) will join Lynn Edwards and Dinah Rose at their great studio space at 2931 Lewis Street in Kennesaw (easy to find across from the First Baptist Church on Main Street).   Lynn, Dinah, Karen, Betty and I will be offering original paintings, prints, wall hangings and tapestries, jewelry, and other hand crafted items.  There will be something for every budget or for you to just enjoy visiting and looking at the art.

All the participating artists at the various locations (Kennesaw, Smyrna, Marietta, Roswell, Woodstock, and Powder Springs) would love to have you visit their studios.  There will be a link soon to the artist names and map of studio locations.  Check back for an update.  Meantime you can see the blog at artiststudiotournorthwestatlanta.blogspot.com.

We would love to see you and show you the art work we have created.  There will be light refreshments and a casual atmosphere.  A portion of the sales at this location will be donated to the Cobb County Human Society and at each studio location to a rescue organization to help animals.
